A native of Wuxing, Zhejiang Province, he is a middle-generation Taiwanese pianist. He served as the head of the Department of Music and director of the Graduate Institute at Fu Jen Catholic University (August 2004 – July 2010), and is currently a full-time associate professor in the Department of Music at Fu Jen Catholic University. He studied under Professors Lu Chun-cheng, Wu Yi-man, and Hsiao Tzu in his early years. While in the United States, he studied under the late Polish pianist Jakob Gimpel, renowned U.S.C. pianist Professor John Perry, and U.C. L.A. department head Professor Robert Winter.

In recent years, he has dedicated himself to promoting piano education. Besides serving as a judge for major international piano competitions and participating in the review of music textbooks for junior and senior high schools by the Ministry of Education, he has particularly focused on academic research in piano pedagogy. He gives regular academic lectures and teaching demonstrations in various locations each year and has participated in numerous international piano conferences. His published papers include: "Bartok's 'Mikrokosmos'"; "Méluís in Bach's Keyboard Music"; "How to Play Ornaments in Bach's Keyboard Music"; "Professor Xiao Zi's Manuscript: An Introduction to Bach's 'Art of Fugue'"; "An Outstanding Musical Predecessor—Mr. Wu Bochao"; "The History of 'Jazz Piano'"; "An Exploration of Tempo Selection in Beethoven's Piano Sonatas"; "A Brief History of Keyboard"; "The Lost Chopin Prelude No. 27—A New Eb Minor Prelude"; "An Exploration of Schumann's Young Person's Collection"; "An Exploration of Kabalevsky's Simple Variations"; "From Schumann's..." Analyzing the piano teaching philosophy of "Hausmusik" in works Op.68 and Op.118. Published works: "Bach Keyboard Dances: An Exploration of History, Form, Style, and Performance"; "An Exploration of Schumann's Young Person's Works".

浙江吳興人，臺灣中生代鋼琴家，曾任輔仁大學音樂系主任兼研究所所長 (2004.8-2010.7)，現任輔仁大學音樂系專任副教授。 早年受教於盧俊政教授、吳漪曼教授、蕭滋教授。 赴美時師事已故波蘭籍著名鋼琴家 Jakob Gimpel、 U. S. C. 知名鋼琴家Professor John Perry及U. C. L. A. 系所主任Professor Robert Winter。

近年來致力於推廣鋼琴教育之工作，除了擔任國內外重要國際鋼琴大賽之評審，並參與審核教育部中、高中音樂教科書外，特別著重於鋼琴教學方面學術的研究，每 年於各地作定期學術演講與教學示範，並多次參與國際鋼琴研討會，發表過的論文有：〈Bartok's “Mikrokosmos”〉；〈巴赫鍵盤音樂的梅呂哀舞曲〉；〈如何彈奏巴赫鍵盤音樂中的裝飾音〉；〈蕭滋教授文稿：Bach's “Art of Fugue”之導引〉；〈一位出類拔萃的音樂前輩---吳伯超先生〉；〈The History of “Jazz Piano”〉；〈貝多芬鋼琴奏鳴曲速度選擇之探討〉；〈A Brief History of Keyboard〉；〈被遺失的蕭邦第二十七首前奏曲--- A new eb minor prelude〉；〈舒曼青少年曲集探討〉；〈探究卡巴賴夫斯基簡易變奏曲〉；〈從舒曼“ Hausmusik”作品Op.68, Op.118來剖析其鋼琴教學理念〉。
