比賽規則
1.本會有權修改已公佈之比賽目錄，其內容如有更改，將於本會網站公佈「比賽目錄修正」。一切資料均以網上之最新公佈為準
2.各參賽者必須準時出席賽事，遲交者則作棄權論，所有費用概不退回。
3.大會有權因應參賽情況而作出相應安排及改動。
4.大會有權因應情況而取消任何賽事。有關參賽者將獲發通知。
5.本會將根據每一個項目的報名人數及選曲長度，把項目分成若干小組，小組之間不會互為比較。
6.參賽者必須嚴格遵守大會所指定之表演時限。如表演超時，評判有機會終止參賽者的演奏，但不會因此影響參賽者的分數。
7.參賽者必需背譜比賽。看譜比賽的參賽者評判只會給予評語不會評分。
8.參賽者一經報名，出席與否，報名費將不獲退還亦不得轉讓他人或轉作另一項比賽之費用。
9.參賽者所填報之資料必須屬實。如有違規者，其參賽資格將被取消。所有資料只會作比賽之用。
10.各項比賽之時間表均由本會編訂，而參賽者之分組及出場次序則隨機決定。
11.本會有權修改參賽者之出場次序及時間，參賽者不得異議。
12.獎盃、獎牌或證書將以速遞形式發放給參賽者，參賽者需自行繳付速遞費用。如半年內還沒領取者，即放棄獎項處理。分賽區獎盃、獎牌或證書由分賽區負責發放安排。逾期領取證書者將需繳交港幣100元行政費，如半年內還沒領取者，即當作廢論。
13.如評判認為該組参賽者未達獲獎水平，將不會頒發任何獎項名次及該名次之獎品，而前五名亦將會空缺。
14.所有獎金將於頒獎典禮完結後一個月內頒發到指定戶口。
15.所有獲得獎金的獲獎者(包括卓越老師金獎)，填寫獎金認領申請書領取獎金。未能填寫獎金認領申請書的參賽者，以放棄獎學金處理。
16.報名表的資料必須寫完整。指導導師和學校的資料必須在報名時填寫完整，不能後補，如報名時未能完整填寫相關資料，則以放棄獎學金處理。

1.The Hong Kong Golden Bauhinia Music Foundation has the right to modify the published competition’s information. If the information is changed, it will be announced on our website, www.hkgbmf.com. All information is subject to the latest announcement on the website.
2.Participants must attend the competition on time. Late submissions will be waived, and all fees will not be refunded
3.The Association reserve the right to make arrangements and changes according to the situation of the competition.
4.The Association has the right to cancel any events due to uncertain circumstances. Participants will be notified.
5.The Association will divide participants into several categories according to the number of applicants and the length of the 
   performance. Each category is independent of the others and so are the adjudication and results.
6.Overall timings in performance must be adhered to. If competitor exceed the time limit, the adjudication will require the contestants to suspend performance.
7.All solo works are to be performed from memory. Competitors who violate this rule will only be given comments. Neither marks nor certificates will be awarded to them.
8.Once a participant applied for the competition, the registration fee will not be refunded and is not transferable to others.
9.Any participants who knowingly give inaccurate or misleading information will be disqualified.
10.The Association will decide on the full arrangement of all competitions. The order of competitors’ performance for each 
 category will be assigned by ballot draws.
11.The Association reserves the right to modify the order and time of the contestants' appearance, and competitors shall not object.
12.Trophies, medals or certificates will be issued to participants by courier and participants are required to pay the courier fee. If the prize has not been received within half a year, the prize will be abandoned. Divisions Trophies, medals or certificates are distributed by the divisions. An administration fee of HK$100 will be charged to those who fail to collect the certificate within half a year.
13.In the cases when the best performance in the category do not reach the standard of the winning level, no placing and prize will be awarded.
14.All cash prizes and scholarship will be awarded to the designated account within one month after the award ceremony.
15.All the awardees (including the Gold Award for Excellent Teachers) who receive the cash prize and scholarship should fill in application form to receive the payment. Awardees who fail to fill in the application form will be dealt with as a waiver of the payment.
16.All information in the application form must be completed. The information of the instructor and the school must be completed at the time of application and cannot be supplemented. Supplemented instructor and school will be waived for the cash prize.

Other regulations
1.All participants must follow the rules set by the Association. We have the right to cancel their qualifications of the violators.
2.In case of any disputes, the Association reserve the right to make the final decision.
3.All applications that are incorrect, incomplete, and unpaid will not be accepted. The application fee is not refundable.
4.The competitor grants to the Association broadcast rights to film, photograph, record, broadcast, live stream, reproduce,
 transmit, play and show the competitor’s uploaded performances and pictures for the purpose of promoting the current and 
future Competition(s).
5.Please pay attention to our website, www.hkgbmf.com for the latest news and related information. If you miss the competition 
time, we bear no responsibility and the application fee will not be refunded.
6.A completed application indicates participants agree to follow the syllabus of the competition will strictly abide by them.
