      Rules for Live Competition

1.本會有權修改已公佈之比賽目錄，其內容如有更改，將於本會網站公佈「比賽目錄修正」。一切資料均以網上之最新公佈為準
2.各參賽者必須準時出席賽事，遲到者則作棄權論，所有費用概不退回。
3.大會有權因應參賽情況而作出相應安排及改動。
4.大會有權因應情況而取消任何賽事。有關參賽者將獲發通知。
5.本會將根據每一個項目的報名人數及選曲長度，把項目分成若干小組，小組之間不會互為比較。
6.參賽者必須嚴格遵守大會所指定之表演時限。如表演超時，評判有機會終止參賽者的演奏，但不會因此影響參賽者的分數。
7.參賽者必需背譜比賽。看譜比賽的參賽者評判只會給予評語不會評分。
8.參賽者一經報名，出席與否，報名費將不獲退還亦不得轉讓他人或轉作另一項比賽之費用。
9.參賽者所填報之資料必須屬實。如有違規者，其參賽資格將被取消。所有資料只會作比賽之用。
10.各項比賽之時間表均由本會編訂，而參賽者之分組及出場次序則隨機決定。
11.本會有權修改參賽者之出場次序及時間，參賽者不得異議。
12.獎盃、獎牌或證書將以速遞形式發放給參賽者，參賽者需自行繳付速遞費用。（適用於沒有出席頒獎典禮的參賽者）分賽區獎盃、
獎牌或證書由分賽區負責發放安排。所有獎項須在3個月內領取（以派發日期開始計算），逾期領取證書者將需繳交港幣100元行政費。
如半年內還沒領取者，即當作廢論。
13.如評判認為該組参賽者未達獲獎水平，將不會頒發任何獎項名次及該名次之獎品，而前五名亦將會空缺。
14.所有獎學金將於頒獎典禮上公佈和完結後在訽問處即場領取現金，未能出席頒獎典禮的參賽者視為放棄獎學金。
15.所有獲得獎金的獲獎者(包括卓越老師金獎)，填寫獎金認領申請書領取獎金。未能填寫獎金認領申請書的參賽者，以放棄獎金處理。
16.報名表的資料必須完整。指導導師和學校的資料必須在報名時完整填寫，不能後補，如報名時未能完整填寫相關資料，則以
   放棄獎金處理。
17.比賽賽程將於網上公布，不設個別通知，參賽者須自行上網查閱賽程。
18.所有賽果以評判決定為準，不設上訴。如有任何爭議，大會將保留最終決定權。
19.參賽者之個人影像、作品或獲獎資料等，可能被上傳至本基金會之網頁或宣傳刊物中作宣傳之用，大會無須向參賽者支付費用。
20.參賽者一經報名則表示同意比賽章程之內容，並會嚴格遵守。
21.所有規則以中文版本為準。
1.The Hong Kong Golden Bauhinia Music Foundation has the right to modify the published competition’s information. If the information is changed, it will be announced on our website, www.hkgbmf.com. All information is subject to the latest announcement on the website.
2.Participants must attend the competition on time. Latecomer will be waived, and all fees will not be refunded.
3.The Association reserve the right to make arrangements and changes according to the situation of the competition.
4.The Association has the right to cancel any events due to uncertain circumstances. Participants will be notified.
5.The Association will divide participants into several categories according to the number of applicants and the length of the performance. Each category is independent of the others and so are the adjudication and results.
6.Overall timings in performance must be adhered to. If competitor exceed the time limit, the adjudication will require the contestants to suspend performance. The marks will not be affected.
7.All works are to be performed from memory. Competitors who violate this rule will only be given comments. Neither marks nor certificates will be awarded to them.
8.Once a participant applied for the competition, the registration fee will not be refunded and is not transferable to others.
9.Any participants who knowingly give inaccurate or misleading information will be disqualified.All informations will be used for competition purpose only.
10.The Association will decide on the full arrangement of all competitions. The order of competitors’performance for each category will be assigned by ballot draws.
11.The Association reserves the right to modify the order and time of the competitiors, and competitors shall not object.
12.Trophies, medals or certificates will be issued to participants by delivery and participants are required to pay the delivery  fee.（Applicable to participants who did not attend the awards ceremony ）Divisions’ trophies, medals or certificates are distributed by the divisions. An administration fee of HKD100 will be charged to those who fail to collect the certificate within 3 months. If the prize has not been received within half      a year, the prize will be abandoned. 
13.In the cases when the best performance in the category do not reach the standard of the winning level, no placing and prize will be awarded.
14. All scholarships will be announced at the awards ceremony and cash will be available for collection at the information desk after the ceremony. Participants who absented the awards ceremony will be deemed to have forfeited their scholarships.
15.All the bonus awardees (including the Golden Bauhinia Outstanding Teacher Award) should fill in application form to receive the payment. Awardees who fail to fill in the application form will be dealt with as a waiver of  the payment.
16.All information in the application form must be completed. The information of the instructor and the school must be  completed at the time of application and cannot be supplemented. Supplemented instructor and school will be waived for the bonus.
17.There is no individual notification about the competition schedule.  Competitors should be responsible to check the competition schedule from our website by themselves.
18.The competition result is based on final judgement of the Judges. No argument or appealing would be accepted.
19.The competitor grants to the Association broadcast rights to film, photograph, record, broadcast, live stream, reproduce,transmit, play and show the competitor’s uploaded performances and pictures for the purpose of promoting the current and future Competition(s).
20.A completed application indicates participants agree to follow the syllabus of the competition will strictly abide by them.
21. All rules are subject to the Chinese Version.

影片提交及注意事項

Recording Procedure
1.影片檔案以.mp4 / .wmv / .avi / .mov 格式提交，影片檔案名稱需設定為「（參賽組別編號）_（參賽者姓名）_ (樂曲名稱).mp4 」(例: P101_ChanTaiMan_Sonatina.mp4)
2.影片中的表演者必須為參賽者本人，否則將被取消參賽資格。如有爭議，本會保留一切最終決定權。
3.參賽者應依照以下次序錄製影片：
·依次朗讀“參賽者姓名+演奏樂曲曲名”
·演奏樂曲一次（如參賽者於影片中重複演繹同一作品，只有首次演繹獲得評審。
4.影片必須為一鏡到底的拍攝原片（包括公開組），不得加入特別效果，例如加入圖片、濾鏡、過渡、調色、調光、字幕或特別效果等，亦不得進行任何剪接及後期製作，影片必須是現場收音。
5.確保影片聲畫同步和流暢，以及音質清晰。
6.影片解像度為720p (1280×720)或以上。
7.整段影片須清楚顯示參賽者之手、琴鍵、腳踏、樣貌及動作。
8.拍攝影片時，應保持拍攝鏡頭穩定，應定鏡拍攝，不應移動鏡頭。

1.We support the following format: mp4 / .wmv / .avi / .mov and the name of the file should be （your group number）_（your name）_ (the name of the music).mp4 for example,(P101_ChanTaiMan_Sonatina.mp4)
2.The soloist in the video must be the contestants himself, otherwise, he/she will be disqualified from the competition. In case of dispute, the association reserves the right of final decision

3. Contestants should record their videos in the following order:

•Speak “ names of contestants + names of piece”
•Perform your piece. (If contestants perform the same piece repeatedly in a video, only the first performance will be adjudicated.)
4.The video must be a single, continuous shot video footage（Include Open Class）. Contestants must not stop or pause the camera during recording with no special effects (such as filters, transitions, color adjustments, light adjustments or subtitles etc.), mixing, editing or post-production.
5.The audio and video should synchronize, and the sound quality needs to be clear and smooth.
6.The resolution of the video needs to be 720p（1280x720）or above.
7.The entire video must clearly show the contestant's face, hands, posture, keyboard, and the pedal.
8.When recording, the camera should be stable without any camera movement (including zoom in or out).
